Citadel Defense Company has reportedly been granted three new CUAS (counter unmanned aircraft systems) contracts from the U.S. Government for its latest product, Titan DF (Titan Drone Finder). Developed alongside servicewomen and servicemen, the new Titan DF solution enables operators to track the flight path, locate the drone, and neutralize threats crossing a user-defined alert zone autonomously.
Christopher Williams, the Chief Executive Officer of Citadel Defense commented that the company takes every measure to compress the space and time necessary for operators to plan and act against a threat in their airspace.
He added that machines can understand, decide, and act more accurately and rapidly than humans in complicated environments. Solutions offered by Citadel autonomously clear the airspace of threats from UAS, keeping servicewomen and servicemen available for other crucial tasks in high-risk environments.
The contract grants were accelerated due to outcomes from recent government backed CUAS assessments. The Chief Growth Officer at Citadel, Matt England stated that Titan users in the United States and overseas have unilaterally confirmed that the system outperforms competing RF (Radio Frequency) CUAS functionalities at Mobile, Fixed, and in Dismounted operations- all at a lower cost that allows the scaling of Force Protection as per necessity.
