Tradition Senior Living, LP, a Texas-based, privately-owned operator, and developer of top-end senior living communities in the state, has reportedly announced the groundbreaking of The Tradition-Clearfork, located in Fort Worth.
The Fort Worth project will be the fifth community developed by Tradition Senior Living. The new rental, luxury retirement community will provide residents extraordinary services as well as amenities and is the latest residential addition to the mixed-use development of Clearfork.
The nine-story independent living community is built at 5755 Clearfork Main Street. It is located on around 6 acres alongside the Trinity River with long walking trails. A five-story memory care and assisted living community, situated on the same site, will front 3033 Acme Brick Plaza. The operator has scheduled a soft opening for spring 2023, with final completion planned for summer 2023.
The Tradition-Clearfork, ideally located in the center of Fort Worth, indicates a new phase of residential growth in the mixed-use, 270-acre Clearfork development. This includes the famous Shops at Clearfork, appealing entertainment and dining options, office and living destinations alongside ample green spaces.
Jonathan Perlman Sr., the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Tradition Senior Living commented that the company has expressed excitement at collaborating with the Edwards family. He added that the company’s locations at Dallas and Houston have achieved immense success, with residents expressing their pride at calling The Tradition their home. The company looks forward to offering its residents a community and lifestyle that takes advantage of this fantastic location, said Perlman Sr.
The Tradition will feature resort-style accommodation with ultra-inclusive services. It will be home to 214 large two-and one-bedroom independent living residences provided with private balconies, 95 two-and one-bedroom assisted living and memory care residences, and three furnished suites for the overnight guests of the residents. Units will range from 880 sq. ft. to 2,200 sq. ft.
The Tradition-Clearfork is a short drive to downtown Fort Worth, two miles south of Westover Hills, and two miles west of Texas Christian University. The general contractor of the project is Rogers-O'Brien Construction while the architect of record will be Jackson & Ryan Architects.
