HMBL House, an LA-based production firm, has reportedly announced that it has been taken over by SOLIS Inc., a tech and media collective.
According to Brett Claywell, who will continue as the Chief Executive Officer of HMBL House, the acquisition comes at a time when the content consumption and engagement of consumers is at an all-time high. Claywell added that the company has been successfully operating for over three years which showcases that content can be utilized beyond entertainment.
Founded in 2019, HMBL has rapidly established itself as a leader in developing real-time engaging content with a worldwide audience. They are prominently recognized for their inventive work with Hollywood talent throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, emphasized by their collaboration during The Livestream Theater Series which was identified by CNN’s Jake Tapper as the most impressive usage of Hollywood.
Recently, HMBL House produced the Da Poetry Lounge-powered FOX Soul Christmas Special featuring performances by some of the country’s most powerful poets.
Brendan De Kauwe, the Chief Executive Officer of SOLIS Labs expressed that HMBL has been generating social interactions through its content. De Kauwe added that the company has excelled in the skill of inspiring audiences to become proactive.
For this transaction, Carey Olsen represented SOLIS Inc whereas Buchalter’s Jeremy Weitz advised HMBL House.
