Rossell Techsys has reportedly obtained a contract from Boeing to make and supply wire harnesses for the T-7A Red Hawk of the company.
As part of the IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity) strategic agreement, Rossell will be making EWIS (Electrical Wiring and Interconnect System) parts. The deliveries will continue through the financial year 2032, encompassing a total of 84 distinct parts.
The initial emphasis will be on manufacturing LRIP (Low-Rate Initial Production) I and II and FRP (Full-Rate Production) 3 and 4. All parts will be produced at the company’s CoE (Center of Excellence) which is exclusively set by Boeing.
Prabhat Kumar Bhagvandas, the Chief Executive Officer of Rossell Techsys cited that the partnership showcases the company’s dedication to dynamic engineering, manufacturing the best quality and high-value parts as well as on-time delivery for the world from India.
The Bengaluru-based company has also produced EWIS parts for the EMD (Engineering and Manufacturing Design) and FT (Flight Test) versions of the T-7A Red Hawk. To date, Rossell has produced more than 100,000 EWIS parts for the aerospace company.
Rishab Gupta, the Director of Rossell India Limited, expressed that the company has been substantially contributing to building an Aatmanirbhar defense and aerospace ecosystem in India and is touted to grow further as the country becomes a crucial global aerospace market.
For those unversed, Rossell Techsys is Rossell India Limited’s Aerospace & Defense Division. It is a Tier I supplier to key global OEMs and produces parts for over 20 rotary and fixed-wing platforms. Rossell Techsys offers customized manufacturing and engineering services in ESSI (Electronic System and Systems Integration), EWIS (Electrical Wiring and Interconnect Systems), aftermarket product support, and test equipment services.
