The global outsourcing services provider CGS has reportedly announced that it will acquire Visual Next, a leading provider of end-to-end software to uniform, footwear, apparel and fashion accessory companies. The acquisition will advance the complementary strengths of BlueCherry® software solution of CGS and Visual Next. The terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed yet.
Reportedly, with the rapidly changing market alongside the trend for unified commerce and convergence of wholesale and retail, consumers have been calling for a complete solution to manage all channels of their business. Visual Next and CGS share a vision of delivering end-to-end, concept-to-consumer solutions to firms in the fashion, consumer lifestyle and apparel industries, and have a deep industry expertise. The agreement between both the companies will help in expanding the geographical market, while also profiting customers with increased investment in the production platform and improved customer support.
