McGuire Woods has served as counsel and legal advisor to ION in connection with the transaction.
Integrated Oncology Network (ION), LLC, a portfolio firm of Silver Oak Services Partners, LLC, has reportedly announced that it has acquired e+CancerCare. The partnership of ION and e+, along with recently unveiled acquisition of Gamma West Brachytherapy by ION, will create a leading cancer treatment platform with 51 locations across 17 states.
Jeffrey Goffman, Chief Executive Officer, ION, reportedly stated that the company is excited to partner with the seasoned executive team at e+CancerCare, which are well-known leaders in the industry. The e+ team shares ION’s aim of enabling physicians and hospitals to provide the highest quality care to patients, he further added.
Dan Gill, Managing Partner, Silver Oak, reportedly claimed that the company is delighted by the unique opportunity to bring two of the best management teams in the oncology sector together to further establish ION as a leading platform well-positioned for future growth.
Wade Glisson, Principal, Silver Oak, stated that the company has enjoyed getting to know the e+ team and tracking its success over the past few years. The firm is thrilled about the potential for the combined platform and looks forward to supporting its continued growth, he further added.
Echoing similar sentiments, Benjamin Mao, Partner, Kohlberg & Company, reportedly noted that the company has enjoyed partnership with the e+ team, which has developed a unique healthcare platform with the highest quality of patient care and has a leading market share in its geography.
Apparently, LBC Credit Partners has served as the sole lead arranger and administrative agent for the debt financing. McGuire Woods has served as counsel and legal advisor to ION in connection with the transaction.
Reportedly, Cain Brothers, a division of KeyBanc Capital Markets, has served as exclusive financial advisor to e+CancerCare. Weiss, Paul, Wharton & Garrison LLP and Rifkind has served as counsel and legal advisor to e+CancerCare.
