HP has reportedly launched a new range of notebooks to cater to Indian users as they promote social distancing by working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The recently launched two laptops bring 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) connectivity to the affordable laptop segment, which was made available on premium laptops including Spectre X360 and Elite Dragonfly, with over 8GB RAM & Intel Core i5 processor. These new Windows 10 laptops are in the HP 14s & Pavilion X360 14 range. These models are reportedly optimized to stay connected at various locations in India with low broadband penetration.
HP 14s is optimal for low to medium productivity with cellular connectivity. This laptop version weighs 1.53 kg, has 256GB internal storage, HD front camera of 720p, and provides power in an ultra-mobile design. With a 78% screen-to-body ratio, it has an FHD micro-edge display of 14 inches. It comes in 10th-gen Intel Core i5 and i3 configurations, and has connectivity options such as HDMI port, 2 USB-A ports, 1 USB-C port, SD card reader, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.
HP Pavilion X360 14 laptop is powered by the integrated graphics of Intel Iris Plus, with 4G connectivity. Including the voice wake-on features, users can gain native access to Amazon Alexa. It has FHD display of 14 inches with micro-edge bezels and an 82.47% screen-to-body ratio. It also features Bang & Olufsen Audio with the audio boost technology of HP.
HP 14s comes in 2 variants. The base variant comes with 4GB RAM and Core i3 processor, while the higher-end variant comes with 8GB RAM and Core i5 processor. These are currently available on both online & offline platforms. HP Pavilion X360 14, which comes in Natural Silver color, will be made available for sale from 1st July onwards.
Customers can obtain a free SIM card with 1.5GB data per day for six months, which is redeemable at Jio stores, with a 30% discount on other plans after the 6-month pack expires.
