Leading South Asian IT company FPT has reportedly entered into an agreement with one of Europe’s largest package delivery providers DPD Group, by signing a digital transformation contract. This deal is a demonstration of FPT’s prowess operating capabilities at the top end of the IT value chain, and a step ahead in fulfilling its ambition of becoming a leading digital transformation service provider across the globe. As per the terms of the agreement, FPT will assess DPD Group’s IT system prior to planning and implementing the IT4EM2 digital technology platform which will augment the France-based courier’s business performance across a dozen nations. FPT will also assist DPD in analyzing Big Data and building their data architecture to transform into a data driven business. The whole process will be led by the Digital Kaizen methodology adopted by FPT,€œThink Big, Start Smart & Small, Scale Fast€ which will aid DPD Group in a seamless and cost-effective transformation. Chairman of FPT, Truong Gia Binh has been quoted as saying that this agreement exhibits the faith DPD Group has in FPT’s logistical, technological and implementation expertise as well as their methodology for digital transformation. He further added that this alliance will pave the way for FPT to become one of the top 50 digital transformation providers within the next decade. Paul-Marie Chavanne, Chairman of GeoPost, parent company of DPD has also spoken about the contract stating that the world’s rapid reinvention and exploration augments the demand for innovative and inspired solutions. He also expressed his optimism about this partnership with FPT, stating that having them as a privileged partner would assist DPD in making high leaps in the new world. Following the signing of the contract, a top delegation from La Poste, the DPD Group & its subsidiaries attended an FPT workshop covering logistics & digital banking in digital transformation. This experience gave them an understanding of the technological proficiencies of FPT through numerous success stories.
