CREtech launches new Climate Tech Platform for real estate industry

A prominent media company providing solutions for the real estate sector, CREtech has officially declared the launch of CREtech Climate, a new technology platform that is aimed at galvanizing the real estate industry through decarbonization and promotion of ESG initiatives.

Reportedly, the platform would be devoted to covering, educating as well as inspiring investments in climate tech besides supporting sustainability and ESG across the Built World.

Following the collaboration of CREtech with Fifth Wall, as well as various other leading real estate and advisory companies, the novel platform’s mission would be to decarbonize the industry whilst promoting sustainability and ESG with the help of a daily newsletter, virtual events, webinars & forums, and market research.

For the record, CREtech Climate is anticipated to be a strong voice for the commitment of the real estate industry to climate tech, through the development of a global consortium of thought-leaders, policymakers, venture capitalists, startups, and real estate companies. Apparently, the overriding goal of the new platform would be to significantly mitigate the industry’s carbon footprint with the help of investments and higher adoption of climate technologies.

Chief Executive Officer of CREtech, Michael Beckerman has reportedly stated that the real estate industry harbors an excellent opportunity to act as a catalyst for meaningful progress in order to address the climate crises. He also revealed that CREtech Climate would be an accelerant in driving awareness as well as compelling measurable movements throughout the Built World.

For those uninitiated, CREtech is apparently associated with Founding Sponsors Fifth Wall, a leading venture capital firm based on technology-driven solutions for the global real estate sector, Savills, a well-known provider of real estate services, Oxford Properties Group, a commercial real estate investor & developer, RXR, a prominent real estate owner, investor, operator as well as developer, and Ernst & Young, a global leader in consulting, tax, assurance and transaction services.
