The defense and aerospace sector plays a vital role in empowering a nation’s defense strategy. In order to innovate new platforms and solutions for the sector, tech companies are now expanding their facilities and resources by means of numerous acquisitions.
One such instance occurred recently when Centauri Corp., a tech company that offers cutting edge intelligence, engineering, advanced technology and cybersecurity solutions, announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire Kord Technologies, Inc., an integrated aerospace and defense firm.
According to reports, the acquisition would allow Centauri to offer a wide range of services to its defense and intelligence communities, as well as improve the company’s defense technology resources.
Speaking on the announcement, Dave Dzaran, CEO, Centauri, said that the company is delighted to welcome Kord to its team and is looking forward to further help protect the nation from potential threats through its innovative solutions across the missile, space, cybersecurity, intelligence and defense domains.
Reportedly, as a part of this agreement, Kord’s President Tom Young will be joining Centauri’s leadership team. When asked about his views, Young said that merging with Centauri offers tremendous benefits for all its employees and customers
The exceptional depth and breadth of both the two firms hold the ability to discover new opportunities. Additionally, the company’s specialization and capabilities complement Centauri’s work and visions while its combined teams would strengthen a range of intelligence, defense and space services, Mr. Young added.
Prior to this acquisition, Centauri had made headlines when it was rebranded from Integrity Applications Inc. (€œIAI€) to Centauri Corp. Moreover, in the wake of the firm’s rebrand, the company revealed that Dennis Kelly Jr. will be supporting the CEO Dave Dzaran as the company’s new President and Chief Operating Officer, helping him to further the firm’s vision and strategies.
