Irish professional services company, Accenture plc has signed an acquisition deal with globally renowned content production firm, CreativeDrive that helps businesses keep up with ever-increasing pace of commerce and digital channel activation.
Sources suggest that the acquisition would complement Accenture’s existing digital marketing, content, commerce and media service offerings. CreativeDrive has a rich client roster which includes prominent brands like Michael Kors, Walmart and Estée Lauder.
Speaking on the move, Brian Whipple, CEO, Accenture Interactive, said that today’s world is highly dependent on speed, especially during this COVID-19 epidemic where brands are experiencing massive disruption as a huge portion of customer base migrates toward online channels.
The purchase of CreativeDrive would act as an investment for the company’s clients and future success, thereby, positioning Accenture at a strong place where it will be capable to meet any challenge while creating a content revolution in a cost-effective, agile and creative manner.
According to Myles Peacock, CEO, CreativeDrive, the company is excited to partner with Accenture and is looking forward to helping clients fulfill accelerated demand for compelling and personalized content at scale, especially when brands today are looking for an effective alternative for a fragmented approach. Being a part of Accenture, CreativeDrive will be able to generate a well-rounded experience for clients while taking care of essential activities like content capture through cross-channel activation.
Prior to this news, Accenture had made headlines when it was listed as one of only three “Star Performers” and named a “Leader” in information technology (IT) security space by Everest Group in its latest report dubbed, “PEAK Matrix® for IT Security Services 2020”.
Since then, Accenture has bolstered its position as a leader in leveraging strong service delivery and offering large-scale security transformation capabilities.
