Guangzhou Automobile Co. (GAC) a China based automobile manufacturer is launching several models in the Middle East mainly and is prepping to launch GS8 in the Russian market later this year.
As per trusted sources, since the time of GAC Motor’s internationalization strategy the company has seen steady growth rate. The company is present in 16 countries with products ranging from SUVs to MPVs and is recognized as a leading automobile manufacturer in several markets.
For the record, since the first half of 2019, GAC Motor has worked on improving its international operations and placing the brand in the global competition platform. Apparently, GAC Motor’s Russian arm – GAC Motor RUS which was launched in April and is the company’s first attempt to venture into operating an overseas subsidiary independently, is preparing to release new products and open more dealership stores.
Yu Jun, President, GAC Motor reportedly stated that the company is committed to establish a global brand presence and has strengthened its efforts to increase international partnerships worldwide. During the International Distributor conference in 2019 hosted by GAC, Yun further added that the company will continue to invest and support their distributors and partners to establish a strong model of collaboration.
According to reports, a wholly owned subsidiary of GAC Motor- GAC Motor International Limited was established in Hong Kong in May. The company will serve as a platform for raising capital, optimizing receipts and payments, talent and investment and join hands with financial institutions to offer inventory ownership services for international dealers.
Apparently, in May 2019, the automobile company became the official car partner of Miss Universe Myanmar 2019 in order to reach its global consumers in a diversified manner.
