Amino Communications, a media and entertainment tech solutions providing company, has reportedly announced that it has acquired online video expert 24i Media for approximately €24.1 million.
Apparently, 24i’s technology serves customers including ifix, Fox Sports, RTE and NPO. As per reliable sources, the acquisition will provide the company with talented development capability, broader and deeper product set, a greater geographical reach and complementary skills.
Donald McGarva, CEO, Amino, reportedly stated that the rapidly expanding 24i is a great strategic acquisition for the company which has moved it nearer to a significant industry leadership position. Not only 24i’s leadership in TV/Online video apps and UI/UX complements the company’s product line-up, but also shares its vision of the industry’s path on which it is heading, and the agility and culture of innovation needed to get it there lucratively, he further added.
